How do you get rural consumers to try booking a doctor appointment which will save them a day’s wages or more?
In Motihari you may see these boards adorning village pharmacies.
Bringing better healthcare services to doorstep. Well done!

ABDM has all sorts of terms that can be hard to follow. But it’s important to know to see health tech innovation in progress. I break down quick OPD registration use-case to understand more.

Whatsapp sources tell me that Homeopaths were not happy with my initial apology and more actions may be put on me via complaints to authorities
Before they do that, I would like to have one more chance at apology 🙏to Homeopaths

I've been very harsh on Homeopathy this year
This has caused Homeopaths great social/career damage
They complained to modern med ethics committee to take action against me
This is my 2 mins APOLOGY

Great to see startups tackle chronic healthcare gaps in Bihar and especially #Mithila region. is helping rural consumers save time on doctor appointments, lab tests and connecting them to premium doctors in T1 cities for 2nd opinion. Proud to support.

As a young person you should just read biographies of successful people who have built great stuff from scratch. No self help. No financial advice. Etc. Just biographies. Incredible force multiplier.

What is the deal with 'Family Homeopaths' in Indian households!?
Homeopaths are not family docs, not even med practitioners
Asking for med advice from family Homeopath is the same as asking for advice from ur home furniture
Family Medicine doc - thats the right person to keep

Here’s a challenge to product thinkers
Accountability is critical for habit building (where a human literally asks you if you performed an action until it becomes a daily habit)
Personal coaching does this, but is costly+hard to scale
What can provide accountability at scale?

A thread of some of the likely most unpopular and unconventional hot takes on software and programming.
All very personal opinions, most derived out of personal preferences, rather than logical/rational reasoning.
I don't necessarily apply all these in practice though.

Sheryl Sandberg leaving is quite the end of an era. She is nothing less than the mother of AdTech.
Yes she brought upon us Cambridge Analytica and election manipulation, but without her "free" social media and "free" search was not possible. She showed us how to monetize.

If a leader doesn’t clearly define tenets and principles of how they like work to be done/not done, they’ll end up becoming event-based nitpickers and perceived as micromanagers and become the biggest bottleneck to the growth of the team that reports to them.

The one message I'd time travel to deliver to myself & our founding team (back in October 2020) would be:
"Things will take longer than expected. One day delays won't matter. There will be tons of mis-steps. You simply need to be patient, observant & focused - things work out."

Working at Apple it was clear, Jobs was responsible for the innovation. Cook was an operations guy. After Jobs, I was sure they’ll lose their mojo. 10 years on they just posted a record $123.9B qtr! I was wrong. Innovation is vital. But never underestimate an operations wizard!

On the #CSE2020 results, well, I secured AIR 66 in 2001 exam (and AIR 171 in 2000 exam), and still ended up with #depression and #AnxietyDisorder. There is life, and then there is life.
Just make the best of it - after all, we only have one life, this life.
Can't agree more. In healthcare, status and ego is at maximum.

If you're building for India, always remember:
Game of status >> Game of convenience
When you can’t afford readymade food, you learn to cook! That’s what I did when I was studying during my degree.
Right now if you can’t afford a readymade engineer, have a strategic view, hire a lot of freshers, train them, bootcamp, 3 months they will be bleeding code! Do it.

Unpopular opinion, but I dont think one should look to save money in their 20s. The base is low, so any thing saved will be miniscule. Rather use the cashflow to fund your experiments with life/career.
