Abortion is a procedure. In medicine we don’t like or dislike procedures. If our patient needs a procedure, if we are trained then we do it. Why is that so hard to understand?

If you want the local fallacy being used here, it's called appeal to authority.

*Puts on fedora* Well akshuly, it's appeal to FALSE authority... And I think an OB/GYN kinda knows their stuff on this topic.

That's why the opinion if a taxi driver and an OB/GYN consultant are of course equivalent when it comes to OB/GYN procedures. How BrexitTrumpish.

Your argument is, once again, a logical fallacy.

It’s not a logical fallacy to trust a mechanic with your car rather than getting a preacher to lay hands on it. Deferring to experts isn’t the appeal to authority fallacy.

Appeal to authority isn’t a fallacy when you’re appealing to an actual authority that is a subject matter expert.

Saying essentially, "No, it's not" isn't an argument. Maybe if you backed up your assertion with an explanation, example, or evidence, you might have a point. Even then, resorting to using a logical fallacy doesn't prove your point to be incorrect.
