My slides on risks/benefits of social media for clinicians at #ASCO18. Now freeware. Please tell me what needs improving, what I got right/wrong. Thanks! http://bit.ly/2Lifk7i   FYI @alexandralw2 @Doctor_V @EricTopol @harvardmacy @JulieSilverMD  @ruthcarlosmdpic.twitter.com/wOfESE7OLB

I had to squeeze a lot into a 15 minute talk for #ASCO18 so it covers elements of the grid superficially. But the framework seems to work. Designed for practicing clinician, academics and clinical trials pro/con beyond the scope of this framework. But it is expandable.

Very good interpretation. In regards HIPAA- Genders and specific ages don’t matter most of the time when sharing patient stories. Protect patient privacy at all costs. The goal is to share experiences, reflect on them, & help others learn from them.

I agree. In our strict professional role, privacy supersedes any desire to publicly educate through powerful stories.

My pleasure! Let me know if you have any suggestions. Still a work in progress. It's for the clinical aspect of medicine, didn't include research/advocacy. They can be added though.
