People always talk about their experience in terms of time but never achievement. She may well have been useless for many years.

Of course not.
This is an absolute fundamental to how this government has got the whole negotiation wrong. In negotiations you have to be prepared to walk away but in this case walking away is remain not no deal but our government is too thick to notice that.
