They were founded by Stephen Moore, an economic illiterate-they didn't stand for any principle, just political power & less taxes for rich people. Much respect for the principle you have been showing, but can also reconcile most of these actors on right were always bad.

I don't think Club for Growth portrays itself as "grassroots". It certainly was not a reaction to Obama's election (since it preceded Obama's election by about 8 years). But yeah, it's funny how deficits don't matter when Republicans are in charge.
