Love this! Children should always be honoured guests in every House of Government. One day I would like to see children reading their Have a Heart day letters inside of Parliament instead of waiting outside and hoping MPs and Senators come to listen:)

The birth and death of millions of salmon happen in our territory - we have invested millions on rehabilitation of habitat and our relatives the Salmon continue to decline year after year. Good move to remove the fish farms from the ocean but is it enough? Or just for votes?

The people have laws older than Canada and British Columbia. They have protected their culture through all colonization and genocide attempts by Canada, and have banned all pipelines under their law.

Today is an historic day for Pikangikum as they shut off their diesel generators and hook up to the provincial grid. This means having access to a reliable and clean source of power that will sustain the growth of their community.Congrats to all involved.

I wonder if these polling results are directly related to the racist narrative in Canada as the far right feels white Canada is losing control.....just wondering out loud as racism is largely silent in Canada.
