    I see little to disagree with in David Reich's thoughtful and articulate NYT piece. Like most geneticists I avoid the term 'race' in human context, due to its historical and continued use as the basis for a completely false view of human differences.

    Every time I teach the python part of my bioinformatics class, I'm reminded how weird python actually is. Example: Exhibit 1 works, exhibit 2 works, exhibit 3 throws an error. Huh?
