Apple's Maps problems are a manpower problem, not a fundamental technology problem. Easy to fix, unlike antennagate

@RossBlandon …they did? There were several thousand developers expected to provide feedback from June until launch

@stroughtonsmith Seems to me that antennagate was comparatively easier to fix. Design new antenna. Ship. May take years to fix maps data.

@stroughtonsmith it certainly is hard to fix a nonexistent problem (antennagate)

@stroughtonsmith easy, hard, nobody cares. All people care about is time.

@stroughtonsmith agreed. But is finding the right people doing great work hard too? I think so.

@stroughtonsmith Not buying #iPhive just because maps are crappy now is a huge mistake.

@stroughtonsmith I'd say possible to fix rather than easy

@stroughtonsmith For me the biggest problem was that Apple didn't give any indication publicly to temper expectations.
