Just out of interest, with @marcoarment in mind, does anybody actually like the Touch Bar of the new MacBook Pro?

-
It seems like 90% of the Touch Bar negativity I’m seeing would be resolved by physical esc key and having pressure-sensitive touchscreen
-
It does seem like this can be resolved in time, rather than fundamentally wrong direction, but really doesn’t address need for touch on Macs

I imagine if there was a third option for “meh, I don’t really notice it” that’d get the majority of votes.
-
but that's a useless metric. That's just people unwilling to admit they don't actually like it, but costs too much to say so

-
Would love to see the results if there were options for whether you own one as well. Don’t own + hate would win, I guess
-
Those votes should not count.

-
that would arbitrarily exclude dozens of people in my replies that bought one & hated it so much they returned it, the most valuable metric
-
You're right. I meant people that never owned one.

what does Marco have to do with it?
-
It skews the sample: at best the poll response is obviously representative of Steve's followers - and Marco's, since he was mentioned.

I think more people would appreciate the Touch Bar if Apple wouldn't have neglected upgrading essential core features.
-
-
I still can't believe Apple shipped something so juvenile.
-
A virtual, adaptable row of keys is hardly juvenile. You don't have to like it, but that description isn't apt
-
-
tbh i was on the fence about it until mine shut off in the middle of my work day; cannot say my function keys ever did that
-
I want it on my ALL Mac keyboards! ... I think it has not reached critical mass. And, until it is everywhere, we will be divided.
