6GB of RAM is a *lot* of future-proofing for these iPads. It's 50% more than before, which was already nowhere near saturated by the apps we use

The new iPad Pros both have 6GB of RAM, according to Xcode (technically the kCoreThemeMemoryClass enum doesn't map 1:1 but CoreUI only knows about 6GB devices so the iPad must be 6GB if not any prior value)pic.twitter.com/Oas1nOM5BM

This tweet seems to be the only source for all the articles about the 1TB model having 6 GB of RAM. Do you know of another source? Will we have to wait until the new iPad Pros are in our hands to know for sure?

Another way to know the RAM is to use Procreate and create the biggest canvas it can... but when is on the store

I guess the question is, will it translate into a discernible difference in performance between the 1TB and 512GB or is that extra RAM used to facilitate access to the extra storage for some reason? If the former, that's some shady business.
