A lot of anecdotal tidbits over the past year seem to point to a massive cleaning-out of macOS' 32-bit & legacy code — wouldn't surprise me if most of macOS effort this year went into gutting it (I guess, preparing for what happens next? Be it iOS apps, ARM, etc)

I still really hope they have time to build an Xcode for iPad in between designing new declarative UI frameworks, replacing Interface Builder with Swift, and adding aarch64 macOS cross-compilation

Considering that Apple just hired a new SVP for AI / ML, of course any meaningful changes to Siri won't be ready. Probably won't start seeing anything major until WWDC 2019
