Chrome. Same issue on Win 10 / i7 and 2017 MBPr's. It seems like a pretty simple problem: too many DOM nodes (and possibly CSS transforms)!

It's just too big. The fix is to convert the docs to a simple React app, and "stream" the components through react-virtualized...
