@stripe The docs' custom find is so smooth & pretty, but I don't always want it. Maybe 70%(?) of the time, I want to actually search the current page for instances of a word.
Is there a way to bypass the ⌘+F hijack besides clicking through to the browser toolbar?

A-ha! Thanks :) I still like it though. Could there be a way to, say, move the hotkey to ⌘+Option+F when unchecked? At least on Chrome, that hotkey focuses the URL input bar for a new web search. (...that's what new tabs are for!)

Hey Luke! Good question and thanks for your feedback. It turns out that if you use ⌘+FF (hitting F twice) then it will hide the search and use the browser default. This is definitely something I use a lot!
