Tidied up the sidebar and started working on the workout list

Realized it's pretty hard to code the main section of the app without a visual to refer to. Created a design with Sketch.
Not sure I really like this design/layout.

It was a fun morning trying to turn that design into code. Learned how to import FontAwesome's package and do conditional rendering, and tried understanding how data is passed between components via props. (It's still quite foggy in my mind but things worked!

That was a lovely Saturday spent building my fitness planner app. Now I can add new workouts and delete workouts (locally).
(It feels simple now I say it out but there was a lot of work. Creating new components, learning about inputs, formatting dates, adding new methods.)pic.twitter.com/sz5ZCHgHtY
Another Saturday, more time programming (after *a lot* of procrastination
).
Some behind-the-scene work: Toggle the "Add workout" modal, give each child element a unique key, and sort workouts by date. And I'm finally committing to git!

Big weekend setting up user authentication and authorization with Firebase. Pardon the bare home page and signup page.
And a huge shoutout to @rwieruch for this amazing tutorial: https://www.robinwieruch.de/complete-firebase-authentication-react-tutorial …

I was able to quickly add Cloud Firestore to my app but spent almost 4 hours trying to figure out how to get `authUser` from Context so that I can add workouts to a doc, where the doc id is the user id. (And it's probably a very awkward way of doing it.)
At least I did it!
Made much more progress today. Now I can add, display, and delete workouts from my database!
Next will be adding Stripe!pic.twitter.com/SL7ytm9SIP
Three full weeks without touching this project
It was mostly because I got stuck with implementing Stripe and chose to work on other things instead. I decided I need to get back so I dived into Stripe's doc today and made some progress (I think!)
I finally implemented Stripe... and it doesn't work.
It seems like the Cloud Function is creating the Stripe Checkout session (as verified by the console.log) but it is not being passed to the app.pic.twitter.com/RDJVxAELDQ
Hm, are you still running into any issues here? If there's anything we can help with, let us know.
Thanks so much for reaching out! I think it's just my code isn't working.
