Hey @stripe @patrickc @collision , We are now forced to close our Poland operations since PLN account is not allowed and on refunds you charge from us. This is not a viable model for us, even though we had good demands from our customer base there. disappointed :( #stipe

We don't apply any fee to refunds, but we must retain the fee from the original charge in order to cover underlying banking costs. (2/2)

For me and my business
@stripe has been the most trusted partner: But I realised that during refunds the Stripe charges are returned from my account balance, this was never communicated and its a hidden fee.@patrickc@collision1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes -
Replying to @renjithr2081 @stripe and
The customer support of stripe never admitted this even after repeated questioning and long email chains. Today I had a call with stripe support and still the person was not ready to admit when I asked a question , but told its complicated to reply in Yes/No.

This is not at all good
#Stripe. For me stripe was all about trust and transparency. This was broken today by this hidden fees. Now I need to have a close look at all transactions to see whether I am getting what I am supposed to. Very bad@stripe team.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likes
We're so sorry for any confusion here! While we don't charge any additional fees when you process a refund, the fees associated with the charge are not returned: https://support.stripe.com/questions/stripe-fees-not-returned-when-refunding-customer …
