You should let people send you books they choose. (You can decline them of course.)

Yes, that's what hitting the "Gift another book" button does. For instance:pic.twitter.com/PE77EcTdqo

I had a conversation with chargebee recently who mentioned that stripe currently accepts payments in rupees and that you won’t be able to charge in dollars yet Do let me know if you’re able to bypass this while integrating. Love how v1 is shaping out! Great job

With Stripe India, you could either charge in dollars or rupees. Either one of them.

Thanks Abinaya! Looked into it a bit more and found the following. a. Do the plans / prices put out need to be in rupees or can exist in dollars? b. How does this work for a mixed customer base and would the exporter code be necessary? cc //

When I signed up with them some time back, they said you can only service one customer base 1) Support Indian customers by charging in rupees within India or 2) Support International customers charging in $ or diff currency We can't do both. Not sure if that's changed now.

I played around with invoices & found that: 1. If the customer currency is in USD, payments are considered as exports requiring a non-indian address from the customer 2. If its in INR, the payment goes through but requires 3D secure authentication first https://stripe.com/docs/india-exports …pic.twitter.com/qrc9fSLvg3

So sorry for the delay! That's correct—if you've opted into exports, you may still process domestic transactions as well. Happy to chat through this further if you have more questions!
