      Stripe is great but it's literally insane how much work it is if you move country and need to change your tax residency. Make a new account and manually copy it all over, probably lose them all in the process!pic.twitter.com/0yaFMv9b5d

      IMO Stripe went from being a super easy high level API that worked for 98% of use cases to being a super cumbersome low-level API that works for 99% of use cases. Don’t think the extra flexibility has paid off, at all.

          For sure! Honestly the most annoying bit has been managing taxes with subscriptions. We still use the tax_percent attribute even though it’s now deprecated in favor of Tax Rates. Much easier to just set the tax on the subscription vs loading in every tax rate we need.
