@stripe when is currency conversion applied? When the transaction is executed or when the balance is paid out? Is it included in the fee or where can I see the 2% currency conversion fee?

The conversion happens when the charge is made and the BalanceTransaction object is created. You can see the conversion for any particular charge under the payment details in your Dashboard.

that amount doesn’t show how much you take in currency conversion fee (2%). Also it seems like this currency conversion fee is not included in the stated fee?

You can view this through the API on the balance transaction object: https://stripe.com/docs/api/balance_transactions/object#balance_transaction_object-exchange_rate …

I don’t see the 2% currency conversion fee there. I see the exchange rate and the processing fee (2,9%+2kr for a charge in USD with US card)

as I assumed. So it is not possible to see the amount for currency conversion fee then. Problematic for two reasons: 1) Not transparent about fees. 2) We need to record currency loss and transaction fees in our accounting.
