Can anyone in the #react #javascriot world confirm whether or not @stripe explodes on postmessage? Running into an issue of devtools passing an object as the payload and stripe trying to JSON parse it.

Strange! Could you confirm what browser, platform, and version you're seeing this on? Are you using React devtools?

We've reproduced this issue on Chrome for both Windows and macOS. Any version of chrome with the latest (released today) react devtools extension runs into this error. Disabling the devtools extension solves the problem.

As far as I can tell, the issue is when a postMessage call is made by devtools and is handled by the is stripe library. Stripe expects a string with JSON but instead receives an object.pic.twitter.com/OtOCTHCscp

Would you mind trying this again? Do you still see this issue?

Apologies for the delay, there were some other errors we were also dealing with (unrelated to stripe). Your change has fixed this issue! Huge thanks to everyone involved
