You can create separate charges and transfers, using Connect! You can read more about this here:https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers …

I could charge the customer $100. Add $50 myself and then pay the seller $150. How would the transaction fees work in that case? How would I report on that i.e. know how much I charge paid (cumulatively)? Struggling to comprehend the docs

If I understand it correctly the amount of the transfer must not exceed the amount of the source charge so in the case above, the transfer (to seller) would exceed the source charge (for customer)

It is possible to create a transfer without an associated charge, provided you have sufficient balance—you'll need to make a transfer without a transfer group: https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers#transfers-without-charges … We provide an example of how fee collection works at:https://stripe.com/docs/connect/charges-transfers#collecting-fees …

You can have multiple connected accounts but only one platform account. Feel free to reach out to us with more details about what you're working on and we can take a closer look https://support.stripe.com/contact
