@stripestatus 99% of our payments are failing. Customer support has told us: "Yes, I am terribly sorry about the inconvenience, some users are currently experiencing elevated charge failure rates. We're investigating, and we’ll get back to you with an update as soon as possible."

Really sorry about the trouble, Daz. This issue has now been resolved, so you should be able to retry any failed charges.

Thanks - great it's now working! We need to reach out to customers affected. It would be nice to have the outage confirmed on your public service status (so we can refer to it in our comms), will https://status.stripe.com/ be updated?
