    Exactly. Our focus is almost always on punishing the impoverished immigrants instead of the companies which consciously hire them. Alternatively, of course, we could acknowledge that these employees are need and bring back the work permits for them, which existed for decades.

    This is a perfect example of how, in 2020, CNN et al could be "tough" on covering Trump while simultaneously allowing him to dictate the narrative of the campaign and news cycle all over again; the two are not mutually exclusive.
