.@ZLauraJeanne noted that Tania Mortensen, the deputy administrator of operations for @DCHumanServ, will be the agency's Liaison Officer for all #COVID19 questions. She is a contact for service providers and partner agencies, not the media or the public. (13/?)

Earlier in the meeting, @_DCHealth called attention to coronavirus@dc.gov and 202-576-1117 to answer #COVID19 questions from the public, recommending you review https://coronavirus.dc.gov/  before emailing and email before calling to make sure everyone gets a timely response. (14/?)

"....These are just some of the activities. Of course, we also are part of the emergency response function for [DC] as a whole. We do have sites for isolation, for people who can’t ‘just stay home’ because they’re sick & where they can be outside of a congregate setting. (15/?)

"....If somebody comes to a shelter and then maybe has to go see a medical provider and that person is [determined not to be] safe to be in a congregate setting, they will have access to a place where they can be in isolation and not be returned to a congregate setting. (17/?)

"....So if someone goes to a doctor, and comes back and has a mask, it does not mean that they were identified as a person under investigation for #COVID19. It means that they might have something contagious and a mask is a great idea for that. (18/?)

"If they’re a consumer who uses a library & has access to a computer, http://coronavirus.dc.gov  is where we’re all going for information," @ZLauraJeanne said. "If they’re talking to a case manager that has access to a computer, that is also where they could go. (21/?)

"....That [site] is being updated at least once a day. That will be absolutely the best source of information." She welcomed ideas for how else the changing information could be communicated to clients/consumers in real time. (22/?)

"....Because this situation is rapidly evolving, we’re just looking to partner with everybody to make sure that one, we have consistent and accurate information, and two, that we are all partners in distributing that to the people who need it." (23/?)

A representative from a nonprofit service provider asked if the supplies @ZLauraJeanne mentioned @DCHumanServ could potentially help secure would include cleaning supplies for hard surfaces. (24/?)

"We’re asking all of our providers...to ensure their own continuity of cleaning supplies," she said. "If you have difficulty getting supplies for cleaning & you are under contract with @Partnershipdc, you would go to TCP & say ‘we’re having trouble getting our supplies.'" (25/?)

"....If @Partnershipdc is unable to help, they will take that to @DCHumanServ & we will work with our partners to try and help problem-solve that. But we want to make sure all other options are exhausted first, because we can’t take on everybody’s supplies." (26/26)
