    We will send mobile medic teams with the March on the Capitol, and we will maintain presence at our primary aid station from deployment (~4 PM) to demobilization (~12 AM). All of our SMA volunteers will be wearing our new, bright pink SMA shirts - look for them if you need help!

    Street Medics Austin will be deploying today to provide non-partisan first aid and initial emergency care for anyone in need near downtown Austin. Our primary medic aid station is under the I-35 bridge over 8th Street, across the southbound service road from APD HQ.

    Street Medics Austin demobilized our medic aid stations and street medic teams at 5 PM for Sunday June 7th. We treated dozens of heat illness cases, and we couldn't have been there to help without the support and donations we received from the community. Thanks y'all!

    SUNDAY: Again today, has established a command structure & deployed additional response assets for the possibility of increased call volume in the downtown area. Saturday responded to 9 incidents with 4 patient transports. Continue to exercise caution.

    The Austin Justice Coalition reached out and requested our help, and SMA will have a medic station for their event at Huston-Tilletson University Sunday at 1 PM as well as medic teams to follow the march to the Capitol.

    Street Medics Austin has established our medic station under the I-35 bridge over 8th Street for anyone in need this evening. We will also have street medics available at the march from Austin City Hall to the State Capitol starting at 7 PM.

    We will be treating anyone suffering from heat illness, small injuries, and injuries that need emergency care. Anyone in need can come to the SMA Station under the I-35 bridge over 8th Street across from APD HQ or find our mobile medic teams in the field.
