I recommend eating vegetables and an active lifestyle. A call for more bike lanes is an explicit call for governments to address social determinants of health. Genuinely mystified anyone would attack me for that, but I guess that's what Twitter is for now.https://twitter.com/strauss_matt/status/1383759167316402187 …

I'm sorry to say that the vast majority of critical illness that I have come across in my 10-year career could have bee prevented with better nutrition and active lifestyles. The pandemic has been no different. Vegetables. Bike Lanes. Please.

Of note: 2017 BMJ paper found that biking to work associated with *50%* reduction in all-cause mortality. That's corrected for other SDOH like material deprivation. That's far more effective than 99% of the pills I have ever prescribed.https://www.bmj.com/content/357/bmj.j1456 …

We can also enforce socially distanced traffic and reduce deaths by how much, even one death

I normally travel about 200-500 miles a day while working with about 2500 pounds in my truck, is there a bike for that?

I don't think you could be more tone deaf. No one disagrees that a healthy diet & exercise improve health. We're all annoyed that you can't seem to understand how those two things are not equally accessible to all people.
