    When learning to recognize intervals as part of music theory study, people start by using a familiar tune as mnemonic. But when you try to figure out two intervals in a row this method falls apart. So here's a new tool to help get over that particular hump

    I presented a piano composition in class today, so last night I had to convert the score from to only so I can try NotePerformer, supposedly much more realistic AI-powered rendering. Meh. Went with the MuseScore default. The teacher said the rendering...

    There are many 12-tone matrix tools (for music) and this is one of them I decided it's simple enough to go vanilla JS on that one and regretted it. Ended up `html += ...` like it's 2004 :)

    The second edition of React: Up and Running is done, yey! It's in the hands of O'Reilly's production team now and hopefully out by Christmas. I swear it's not timing of the market, just a lot of procrastination on the writer's part :)

    A bummer, but let's stay positive and look forward to the next year!

    Unfortunately we decided to cancel performance .now() 2021. The uncertainties are so overwhelming that we don't see a way forward while keeping our sanity intact. But we will return. On 20 & 21 October, 2022.

    It is with a heavy heart that I abandon my ancient Samsung Galaxy J2 and come back to iOS world. It was a glorious year, but peer pressure for iMessage group chats got me in the end.

    4) mobile friendly test () Which thinks "page cannot be reached" "Podcast manager" has the podcast but "it's not on Google". Huh? Anyway, I didn't expect this from The Search company. The page is out there, the RSS is linked, I'm done :)

    wow, what a mess. I'm trying to figure whether the latest perfplanet podcast episode is on google play (or whatever it's called now). Documentation is going in circles. Sends me to 1) search console 2) pubsubhubbub (what a f'ing clowntown this page is) 3) podcast manager 4)..
