motorcyle sounds @LexisFlexxxisReplying to @stopthee @earthstepper @chesaboudinThat’s not an increase in overall crime, that’s an increase in crime within the immediate vicinity. That doesn’t mean more crime is happening, it’s just that slightly more is happening very close to the shelter. Crime in general likely went down in the city b/c of the shelter.2 replies 0 retweets 1 like -

56% more crime isn’t a slight increase. The issue was specifically Sheperd themselves which become hubs for crime. You’re willfully misrepresenting the data.pic.twitter.com/tP2nnc5zc6

I don't know man, I think the person who reads that and comes to the conclusion that housing increases crime is the one who misinterpreted it.

We’re talking specifically about homeless shelters and you dishonestly change it to housing to save face.pic.twitter.com/WvEOwFsFDb

No, just using the words interchangeably. Your argument is literally that homeless people aren't committing crimes until they're offered shelter, which somehow causes them to commit crime. Frankly, I think you should be the one attempting to save face. Asinine argument.

No, that’s not my point. You don’t even understand it. My point is that homeless people commit crime, this is well established, housing them without stipulation will not decrease crime.
