I’ve seen circs during my clinical time and the babies fell asleep during it. They were medicated beforehand so they don’t experience pain. The websites that claim circs are barbaric are biased. There are benefits to doing so. Definitely a personal preference though.

They “fall asleep” from shock from the pain. Most of the time the drs don’t wait long enough for medication to be effective, if they even use medication at all. Most of the time they just use a numbing agent that does nothing. It’s unnecessary pain you’re putting the child throug

Most doctors inject a pain medication directly into the nerves of the penis. If they went into shock they would show continued signs of distress. They are fine after the procedure, they don’t even always fall asleep.

how can they be considered "fine" when parts of their genitals have just been cut off? They are permanently damaged.
