Such arguments on being circumcised and uncircumcised
your baby, your choice. Someone else’s kids don’t reflect yours. Just like vaccinations. Everyone has a different parental belief and going against someone else does absolutely nothing lol

I am 100% against circumcising and I have never heard of female circumcision in America so, irrelevant.
-
I'm also 100% against medically unnecessary circumcision of children, including the one that was forced on me. So I must disagree about "parental belief" being what matters here. Kids need to be left intact so they can decide for their own body.

I agree. If it’s not deemed medically necessary i wouldn’t give it a single thought, but who am I to judge another parent that thinks differently? What is my opinion about their child going to do? Absolutely nothing because their parental beliefs are what matters to their child.
-
Your opinion does matter because once a critical mass in a society agrees people deserve to decide for their own body, the medical establishment will stop offering it and eventually boys may be protected by law.

Also, don't underestimate the power of advocacy. Just by talking to friends, you can change minds. Your "I can't tell you what to do" attitude is even helpful here, since you won't seem pushy.
