It’s from too much blood loss and infection. You can’t control blood loss and infection when you put a open wound inside of a dirty diaper.

Well too be completely honest with you Taylor, it's supposed to be done in a sterile environment soon after birth, the same as cutting the umbilical. It's also cutting off foreskin which shouldn't require any more then swabbing with alcohol to stop any bleeding

It’s not SUPPOSED to be done. Sorry. But US is one of the only countries still obsessed with cutting baby penises for some reason. And whether or not it’s done in a sterile environment the child still goes home with a open wound in a piss filled diaper.

The baby doesn't go home with an open wound I can assure you of that, especially not in a dirty diaper. My sister is an OB/GYN actually, she would be able to go over everything with you :)

the baby goes home with parts of their genitals missing. Which were removed without consent. That's the problem

What do you mean without consent??? The parents give consent before the procedure is done....certain religions forbid it, others don't want it done, so consent is always required

the people who are having their healthy body parts cut off are the ones who need to give consent.

no, they cant do it, which is why they shouldn't have their healthy body parts cut off. If they cant give consent and they are healthy, there is no need to do anything.

And I have not had any side effects of said action in my 30+ years since. Also the vast majority of my friends, family and coworkers have been and also have not suffered any ill effects. FGM however is legitimate mutilation and must be banned globally

I know many thousands of people who feel greatly damaged by circumcision. And i also know of people who don't feel that they were harmed by fgm, The solution is to let people have control over their own body parts.
