Maybe we should just protect the rights and interests of everyone as long as what they are isnt harmful or morally wrong
We've tried that for decades. Framing it like that means white people will still be targeted and victimized. If lack of moral courage compels you to say it that way, you can at least conclude the statement with the phrase "..the rights of everyone, including whites."
