After seeing my peers champing at the bit to join pre/clear/etc just to avoid a little bit of hassle at the airport, I can't say I find this all that surprising.

No one should find this surprising, elimination of privacy polls extremely well! I believe Americans would vote for a great firewall and a China-style panopticon if given the choice. I believe Barr et. al. will eventually win and E2E crypto will be outlawed. THE STATE IS VIOLENCE
