Very interesting discussion yesterday with Ralf Jung about his approach to defining Rust's aliasing model. Not at all what I was assuming!
Will non-lexical lifetimes bring any changes with respect to aliasing since they leave the old scope-based model for a new access-based one?

I haven't internalized it well but the proposed model uses lifetime expiration to release memory, which is too restrictive on its own
