Hey, guys. Random update, but just in case any of you were thinking about clothing subscription boxes for men; I tried 3 different subscription clothing boxes and here’s what I found:

Menlo club: Sends a great first box with multiple items, but most of the stuff is their own brand and isn’t the best material— some too thin and flimsy. Box took the longest to get. It was not hard to cancel, but had to do it over the phone.

They offered 50% off for me to reconsider, which I declined, but I can say I did receive a bargain for what I paid originally. This is probably the one with the most “bang for your buck.”

@TrendyButler: Sent me dark and boring clothes not suitable for the season. The shirt was a cheap material and the threading on the pants was already unraveling. Customer service was email based and was open only a few hours of the day, so you can tell where this is headed.1 reply 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread -
The “Summer50” 50% discount code promotion didn’t work and charged me full price. But they were quick and efficient in refunding me and sending me a ups label for an exchange— I’ll update later with what they send me in exchange, but after that experience I think I’ll cancel.

@stitchfix: I absolutely loved this more than the others. It’s going to be a new addiction, honestly. So, hold me back. There was a 20 dollar styling fee initially for the box, which was credited to what options I decided to purchase. It was altogether pretty neat.2 replies 0 retweets 0 likesShow this thread
Thanks for sharing, Clint! Which pieces did you decide to keep from your Fix?
