When you understand the trade-offs with editing tweets but at the exact same time, edit a Slack message and then get really angry about not being able to edit on Twitter. Maybe just allow for less than 10 character edits? A nice call back to constraints too?

Major constraint that twitter has but slack doesn’t is that tweets get plastered all over the internet and that likely changes the complexity of implementation

Right but the problems of editing a live tweet don’t go away even then. Why not just have a gmail “undo” feature (opt in)? See a preview in your TL with X seconds til post (10, 20, 30, etc.) can change. Preview reframes so more likely to see errors.
