Maybe for some, but not for me. Seems more cumbersome when you have glasses. That's one of the main reasons I've avoided VR, too.

It is for me, I wear glasses and the 3d glass just sit outside of them, don't even notice them once the 3d trailer end. I enjoy it for the showing of depth more then the 3d aspect of it

the only time I'd even consider seeing a movie in 3D is if it was shot natively in 3D, like Avatar or Dredd - and not post converted (like most movies are these days, Avengers included)

^^ Same. Box Office poison, otherwise. Main priority should be knowing if anything has true IMAX shots and if it does, usually worth seeing in IMAX.

I love 3D films when people take time to make sure the 3D is correctly designed, and projected. it's more finicky than just slapping an image on a wall. It needs to be sharp, 100% in focus and well lit. Unfortunately most chains don't give a crap about 3D.

I've seen the same movie at a theater in 3D on two different screens and you could tell one wasn't set up correctly. It gave me a headache. The other was crisp and beautiful.
