Everyone is talking about the @Raptors potentially flipping Kawhi mid-season. Why not convince uncle dennis and Kawhi to sign the max with Toronto end of the season - then trade to ensure he doesn't lose $50mil? Also screws over the LA teams trying to sign him.

Not doubting that. I just want them to make LA pay appropriately for him, handicap either LA team from a salary cap perspective. Signing a max with Toronto vs. max with any LA team is a $50m difference. If he gets traded right after the signing, he gets the $50m + we get stuff.
