    I've had my vintage electric guitar stolen. It was built especially for me by legendary guitar maker John Birch 44 years ago and was an 18th birthday present from my parents. If you happen to see an advert for this guitar it will probably be mine as there were so few ever made♥️

    The weirdest thing about the Cummings revelations is the pathological absence of awareness. He did more than anyone else to put a man he knew to be a ‘clueless gaffe machine’ at the pinnacle of power but wants to be absolved of all responsibility for it & the inevitable results.

    It drives me crazy that normal people think there’s an actual debate over Critical Race Theory and try to engage in it. CRT is a good thing for grad students to learn, nobody’s teaching it to kids and it isn’t an issue of public interest. This is a fascist propaganda campaign.

    The twist in the Daily Mail's Enid Blyton article is that it gives hard evidence of her racism (which I remember being common knowledge in the 80s btw) even as it implicitly complains about that racism being mentioned. It's as if it's arguing with itself.

    I am a refugee. When I was six, the UK saved my life and gave me a home and hope. This my plea is for the UK to live up to its proud humanitarian tradition by giving hope to the refugee children of today. Children like me. Just our fair share, no more than that.

    Given this tweet has SIGH started generating accusations that I'm ungrateful, gonna post the whole footnote and get on with my day. Also, and I know this is hard for the simple-minded, when brown people write about racism, it doesn't they're complaining about their own experience
