I'm so old, I can remember when Hurricane Katrina effectively ended the Bush presidency. I don't understand why there isn't just utter national outrage at the lack of a federal, coordinated response to this.

We have just become numb to it. We expect Trump to say something stupid and insensitive about almost any serious problem. When he does no one really cares because they knew it was coming eventually

I hope Jerry Brown and Gavin Newsom jump all over him and put him in his place if he steps out of line. Better yet I hope they educate him on climate change.

While Trump educates them on fire prevention. As one of the Californians who is being affected by the fires, I am furious when I found out he vetoed a bill that would help keep the fires from spreading out of control, like THEY ARE DOING NOW!

What did you expect? California votes for Hillary and took a bunch of CA House seats. He is more than petty enough to not assist states who didn’t vote for him. He has said as much before about other places.
