    "At this point, we assume that Breitenbush has mostly burned to the ground. " Very sad. I've never been there myself, but my friends have been raving about Breitenbush Hot Springs in Oregon for decades. This will be a huge loss to some wonderful people.

    "Darkness at the break of noon" - Dylan. It's hard to express to anyone not living in the Bay Area right now how bizarre, disorienting and unnerving it is to have a day with no daylight. It also feels sadly on-brand for 2020, as if all the other stuff has now blotted out the sun.
