  1. so many games don't care to maintain continuity and any system-level transitions interrupt the mood (such as opening the menu).

  2. my current method: every week, randomly pik 5 games i have not played (or just very little). play each for at least 1 hour. eliminate one.

  6. truth is hard to come by. if you find it difficult to find something to believe in, it's because that's the way it should be.

  7. there are some shitty, racist police. there are also some shitty, completely unreasonable BLM folks.

  8. i think like in every conflict, taking sides is completely unproductive. you don't need to be pro-police or pro-BLM.

  9. ugh really really did not enjoy Asemblance. it's one of those..pretty random puzzle games.

  10. should i keep playing shadow warrior reboot? really dig the sword combat, but it's feeling pretty same-y after a couple of chapters.

  17. wow always been curious about FPS analog stick aiming, and finally someone did a pretty rigorous study:

  18. so it's about 1) actually having such relationships consistently, and 2) making sure the player understands them and can affect them.
