I made a thing. Calling it a game is a bit generous, but it's at least playable and somewhat fun. The interesting thing is that it's a rewrite of an old 7DRL project, and I think the new version may be better despite having strictly less stuff.https://sportzer.itch.io/scavenger
I'd like to expand it more, but I suspect adding new content indiscriminately will water down what's already working and make the game worse. I'll probably aim for something a bit more traditionally roguelike shaped, but I'd like to keep the quirky pathing tactically relevant.

The TL;DR of all of this is that I partially reimplemented a thing and accidentally improved it by not implementing everything that was in the original. It feels like there's some kind of life lesson here.
