I know Apple’s iPhone 13 cinematic video rack focus thing is probably very clever, but this is on my older iPhone with just the supremely tricky technique of tapping the bl**dy screen.
Sorry, but I don’t think all that horsepower and depth kludge are strictly needed.

I should note, of course, that Twitter's downsampling rather mangles video. So the focus changes may be too subtle for this social network - heh. I'll return to this topic in a Phones Show, I think. Also at 1080p, just as with Apple's cinematic stuff 8-)

Filmic Pro also enabled very smooth+manual zoom and focus pull movements. Even on single-lens iPhones.

True. I used Filmic Pro on my iPhone SE back in 2016 to do rack focus as well. Filmed at 120fps or 60fps (sorry can't remember, whatever maximum is for that phone), and then slowed down to 24fps in editing.
Looks slick.
