Great post, I've come to a similar conclusion and I've been exploring the topic too:https://medium.com/@sjors/space-as-a-medium-for-interaction-design-e546b3421a58 …

Cool! There are a lot of neat references that I hadn't heard of, like Interactive Light! So cool and very related to Dynamicland

Nice write up
. I do take issue with lumping VR/XR in with 2D screens. VR/XR enables spatial computing and has more in common with Dynamicland than our phones. VR in particular can extend DL to remote rooms/people. I’m building a similar thing in VR for remote collaboration. -
Yes using XR headsets to have the "room" be portable is a big boost and compliment to dynamic land paradigm,
@sannabh and I chatted about it a littlehttps://youtu.be/Og25EnKumHo

Incredibly interesting project, but you badly, badly miss the mark when discussing libraries. Physical book circulation is up in public libraries generally, and your “lack of collaboration” ignores the hundreds of workshops and classes, not to mention public meetings.

You got to get in! I went to Oakland in May to visit but they didn't allow visitors at that time :( I was so disheartened (and sweaty, mind you). Hope I'll get to explore it some time in the near future.
