Hey rbenv users: it’s good practice to keep your .rvmrc checked in, but what about .rbenv-version? I don’t know what you folks like.
@DaveWilkinsonII it’s hidden because it’s part of the env. historically configuration goes in dot files.

@steveklabnik nah. conf goes into dotfiles so you don't destroy them since they are per session. source conf goes into a configure script.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@steveklabnik however, rvm changes your system environment during your time in a directory. that's also crazy. but shouldn't be invisible! -
@DaveWilkinsonII many other projects do it in dot files as well, at least in ruby world.
