The idea that there's a problem with the president "enlisting the federal workforce to work on his campaign" is a bit much. The Trump-era Hatch Act issues all surrounded senior political appointees. Just a different animal than co-opting the postal service.

This was something I really hoped for with a Biden presidency. That he would recognize and reverse the expansion of power consolidated in the Executive Branch, especially under the last 3 Administrations. I think doing so would be tremendously popular if communicated effectively.
