Other than confirming partisan judges, it doesn't look like the Senate is doing much legislation. They're certainly not voting on the hundreds of bills sent over from the House.

almost all of the bills Democrats have passed in the House are garbage; thank God Republicans can kill them in the Senate.

If they are passing bills that go no where... they knew they would go no where when they passed them... that is by definition not getting things done. Whether you liked the bills they passed or not. USMCA is an example of a bill that is doing something - but for impeachment.
