Why the fuck would waste her time debating Ben Shaprio? She won a primary against a 10-term incumbent at 28. WHAT THE FUCK HAS BEN SHAPRIO DONE THAT WOULD MAKE HIM THINK THEY ARE EQUALS???

Obviously it won't go down like this, but the best way for Disney to save face is to just admit that they made a mistake by bowing to pressure created by disingenuous extremists, and promise to be more thoughtful in reacting to things like this in the future.

Virtually every argument they make and every policy they advocate is undermined by their own shameless hypocrisy. The problem is, their supporters don't care.

1/ Jacksonville is reeling from three murders of black transgender women in the city this year. The crimes remain unsolved and the way the cops are handling the cases may only be making matters worse.

In response to Lindsy Lohan's comments about it being weak for women to come forward to discuss their experiences with sexual assault and rape, I want to remind people that this is the exact notion that Rape Culture relies on in order to thrive.

More from the same piece: "There is no value in this brand of free speech advocacy that will fight tooth and nail on principal for the unprincipled but stay silent about issues of platform and access that effectively deny equitable free speech to marginalized communities."

"It is unsurprising that Twitter has decided to let Jones have a refuge . . . The site is perhaps the worst example of enabling the targeted harassment of vulnerable people while banning others for far lesser infractions." Great piece by

Twitter said it would have taken action against Alex Jones/InfoWars had the content that got them in trouble w/Facebook & YouTube been posted on Twitter. But all of the content that initially led to YouTube/FB taking action is, in fact, posted to Twitter

You don't dignify intolerant, dishonest people by treating them as though their toxic ideas are worthy of serious discussion. Fuck 'em. Let 'em keep showing their ass. The thirsty fuckers can chase after you if they want to. Don't give them the satisfaction of catching you.

A few years ago a professional bigot and pandering dipshit not so unlike Shapiro started a crowdfunding campaign in an attempt to pressure me into "debating" him. Like everything else these people do, it was a grift, and I would have been foolish to accept.

The tactic of offering money to someone for a pointless, performative debate strikes me as particularly desperate. It's an attempt to a) paint the challenged as a coward and a fool ("Why turns down free money?!"), and b) artificially raise the stakes.

"They don’t care about your point of view. . . . They simply want to denigrate your position, even if it has been easily proven by objective facts, or to elevate their crackpot conclusion to legitimate status." Debating bad-faith actors only serves THEIR purpose.

Ingraham's view on this matter is pretty simple -- so simple that you could summarize it in fourteen words.

Just got a chance to plug this amazing episode I did with , , and in a podcast group. Figured I'd share it here since it's really good IMO and it was meant to drive traffic to another wonderful person, !
