  I think we should reduce minimum wage to what it was 20 years ago.. Minimum wage should never have been allowed to go more than $5/hour! That’s why we have all this unemployment now, it’s never been higher! Even $8 is ridiculous!

  Don’t pay more, minimize living costs, Ontario wants to mandate mortgages, housing and pay, but not anything they actually control, like hydro, insurance, taxes, carbon tax, but I bet 2% drop in all those fees, would be more than the min wage jump in peoples pockets.

  The wage increase was only one part of Bill148. Also added were loads of paid vacation days, maternity/paternity leave extended , making it crazy to hire an entry at the entry level. Discriminates disabled adults making it extra hard to justify hiring DA workers.
