All that masking on the F-35B has paid off. Some not 100% but I’m happy

Does this look like nmm steel to you ?? . I haven't really painted much at all recently , as you all have probably noticed. Can't start a new project because I got a huge commission incoming. But I'm still trying to nail this nmm thing.

With the right light at sunset and the tide in, even the narrow tricky Port of Heysham can look nice from Precison!

It’s been a long week on the Irish Sea with Precision, but the week of storms has finally passed with a stunning sunset. Now for some smooth seas and catch up on sleep

Drydock a few years ago and it is usual for propellor to get a good polish. This increases efficiency as helps the props to slice through the water more effectively.

Following on from fantastic photos in sunlight, thought I’d add a few of mine to lighten the mood at this time of year.

Following on from yesterday’s propellor pitch test, to give you some idea of size. This is me between the two propellors of a previous ship, you can see by the shape of the blades the propellors turn inwards over the top, ie port engine clockwise and starboard anti-clockwise

Have you ever wondered how a ship moves? Two types, 1 where the engine speed goes up and down (like car) or us where engine speed constant and we change the pitch of the prop. Here is one of mine undergoing a full movement test in drydock last year

Gorgeous sunset over Republic of Ireland this evening as we approached for Warrenpoint harbour onboard SeaTruck Precision. Unfortunately the next trip back here tomorrow won’t be as smooth.
